Dithering deals with marine pollution in Gothenburgs industrial area, Ringön. Through sampling and soaking the negative into the petroleum polluted saltwater, the work explores a metaphoric seascape. Instead of adding to the existing mass of environmental documentary photography, the image tries to make a direct contact with the subject matter.
